Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1)Seduction and Snacks by Tara Sivec
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am certain my husband considered having me committed because he thought I was losing it! I have never laughed so much from reading any book. If you want 100% funny this is the book for you! I loved it!

Sometimes I want to read a book that is going to take me away from all things serious and just make me laugh. This book did the job. I loved it!

Just One MomentJust One Moment by Stacey Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed the book. Two people, both with things from their pasts that kept them from wanting more than a one night stand. I really enjoyed Lynx and his determination. I was easily caught up in the book and was very pleased with how it ended. I one clicked this book because so many people were recommending in and I am happy I listened. There are other books in the series that I haven't read, but I didn't feel like that kept me from enjoying this one. I do, however, intend to read the others! This is an author that I will be keeping my eyes out for in the future!

Owned by the Badman (Russian Bratva #1)Owned by the Badman by Hayley Faiman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Owned By the Badman is the story of Maxim and Haleigh. I am a fan of dark romance so I was very excited to find where this book was going to take me. Haleigh doesn't meet Maxim until their wedding day, where he takes ownership of the young ballerina in exchange for a debt that is owed to him. I would have loved to have seen a little more fight in Haleigh from the beginning where Maxim would have to take a firmer hand with her. I think that is what I would have liked to have seen just a little bit more of through out the whole book. That being said, I still loved the book and cannot find a real reason to give it less than five stars. It was a fast moving story that held my interest and kept me wanting more from beginning to end. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I look forward to reading much more. I need more Russian bad boys!!

One to Keep (One to Hold, #2)One to Keep by Tia Louise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Man! I thought Derek was the hot one in One to Hold. I couldn’t wait to dig into book 2. We still get to see Derek pop in every now and then, but this is Patrick’s story. Patrick has a rough start where his luck with the ladies isn’t all that great. We meet Kenny, who I will admit, I loved! Kenny has a pretty significant role in Patrick’s book and I am excited to know that there is a book waiting for me that tells her story.
Elaine was introduced in the first book as Melissa’s best friend. She is a strong woman who is always in control of her life, until Patrick. These two go together perfectly. They click right away and their connection is red hot.
After reading the first two books, I am beyond thrilled that there are so many books in this series. Every turn of the page, my interest and excited me grows. I need more. I think that if you enjoy this genre, you will be very happy you gave this book a chance! I recommend it!

One to Protect (One to Hold, #3)One to Protect by Tia Louise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“It’s pure…and real…and gorgeous…and f*****g hot.” One to Protect is book 3 in the One to Hold series. In this book, we get more Derek and Melissa. We also get quite a bit more from Patrick and Elaine. One to Protect definitely has the suspense. It seems Melissa’s crazy ex-husband Sloan is still a threat, so Patrick comes up with a plan that involves Toni aka Star who we met in book 2 to put a stop to Sloan once and for all. I’m a fan of detective/action type stories and this one was well done. You still get the romance and hot sex, which is sizzling between these characters, plus you get to see these guys work.
I cannot wait to read more. In fact, moving on to book 4 is exactly what I am about to do. If you haven’t read a Tia Louise book, I recommend that you grab One to Hold, which I think is free at the moment, and give her a chance. I’m glad I did. This is one of my favorite series of all time!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At the end of chapter 1, Amelia’s friend, Tracy said “oh, this is going to be interesting”. Yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking!
How this book has one star reviews, I will never know. The title and blurb gave me the idea that there would probably be some foul language and insults thrown around, but never did I expect that by the end of this book I would be feeling so much emotion. It was a fun book to read and no matter how I may have felt about Jason or Amelia at times though out the book, it couldn’t have ended more beautifully!
I loved it!

Pleasured by You (Love in the City, #3)Pleasured by You by Steph Nuss
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After reading this book, I am ashamed to say that I haven’t read anything by this author before now. I am beyond impressed with what I just read. I loved every second that I spent reading Fletcher and Bayler’s story. I loved all of the characters in this book. I will certainly be going back to read the other books in the series. This book held my interest from the first page until the end. Many times I find myself getting bored with certain parts in even books that I loved, but that wasn’t the case at all with this one. It was written with enough detail that it all felt real. I enjoyed this book very much!

Always Room for CupcakesAlways Room for Cupcakes by Bethany Lopez
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a “shocker” this book turned out to be!! I was not expecting it. This book needs to become a movie! The whole time I was reading I was thinking Melissa McCarthy or Reese Witherspoon. It was funny and it actually felt like a real scene from a movie was playing out whenever Lila was chasing after the bad guys and the cheaters. I even enjoyed Amy May and her cupcakes. I’m just sorry it ended. I am looking forward to reading more from this author!

Just One Regret (Just One Song #3)Just One Regret by Stacey Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I read Just One Moment first because it was recommended to me by so many friends. Now I know why, it had to be because this book came before it. I loved Just One Regret so much! I loved Grayson and Kennedy and their story was just almost too much at times, and I mean that in a very good way. This book has the hotness too, but the story itself was just so much more than that. Now that I have read these two, you can bet I am going to dig into the other two as soon as possible. So what if I am reading the series backward. I love it!

Frayed Rope (The Ugly Roses #1)Frayed Rope by Harlow Stone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For a first book from an author, this one is about as good as it gets. The beginning was a little slow for me, but from the point where Ryder enters the story until the end, it held my attention with every turn of the page. I couldn’t get enough of this story and I guess the author felt the same way, because this book does end in a cliffhanger. There is suspense and some darker moments, which I don’t mind at all in my books. Needless to say, I will be reading book 2 shortly. I look forward to reading much more from this author.

Baby, You're Mine (Yeah, Baby, #1)Baby, You're Mine by Fiona Davenport
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a short but very sweet read! Well more panty-meltingly explosive than sweet. I don’t always go for the instant love kind of books, but this one was really good. This author definitely knows how to write the hot scenes. There was no boredom while reading. The storyline was very consistent and there was a whole lot of detail packed into this little book! I loved it from beginning to end!!

Finding CharityFinding Charity by Jody Pardo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m blown away by this book! I did not in any way expect that such a short book could seem so much more. Normally, I would avoid short stories because I can never seem to get enough from them. I do want more. But not in a way that makes me unhappy with this book.
With the way that it started out, I was worried that it was going to be one of those with sex and not much else. That wasn’t the case at all. There was a storyline. There was suspense. And the ending was perfect. It was short and if the author were to ever turn this in to a full blown novel, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
